Calming Collars is a company that concentrates on producing dog collars that contain a blend of natural herbs that aids in stress relief for our furry friends. Just like us, our working dogs are exposed to stress everyday, and it could range from things as simple as loud noises, a trip to the groomers and vets or even separation anxiety. These collars aim to soothe their senses and reduce the stress and anxiety that they may be feeling.
From the website:
Our patented Calming Collars are filled with a blend of natural herbs. Our blends were specifically developed to help with certain conditions, like excessive barking, hyper-activity, stress, anxiety and fear due to loud noises, storms and thunder (thunder phobia), separation anxiety and more!
These fabric collars are handcrafted and are filled by hand with our custom blended dried herbs. Your order will be custom made and shipped quickly, usually in less than a week. The plastic buckle allows you to adjust the collars for a perfect fit.
One lucky working dog will be getting an awesome calming collar!
As a special thanks to our members and friends for helping us encourage voluntary acceptance of Service Dog training and behavior standards, we’re giving away free gear, books, treats and more with our 2015 Howly Jowly Gear Giveaway!

While yu current hearing service dog is pretty laid back; he does get ruffled with fireworks. So this would be great in July!

It looks like a bow tie and my Doolie would look handsome wearing one as well as ease his anxiety when I don’t take him with me or when we are in Florida in the summer with the circling thunderstorms. I could have used one this summer when my father died and we were in Florida for a month. Thunderstorms circled the house for hours and shot lightening through the house. It made us all jump and poor Doolie. The gun salute at my dad’s funeral really didn’t help.

This collar would be great for my SDiT Franklin! He’s very calm with me but as he’s a rescued greyhound he doesn’t like to be alone. It would be great to have one of these while I sort out workplace access for him. Thanks for making these kinds of products!
