We need your help. And it won’t cost you anything but a stamp, a Christmas card and a caring note.
Lucas Hembree of Alcoa, TN is four years old. And he’s fighting a fatal disease called Sanfilippo Type A/MPS III. It’s similar to Alzheimer’s, and he’s already undergone several procedures and is currently losing his ability to walk. Right now Lucas is in the hospital because he had multiple seizures.
Chester, Lucas’ father, rescued Juno, a German Shepherd, hours before she was scheduled to be put down. He has since spent considerable time training her as a Service Dog for his son.

This cause is very dear to our hearts. Friends of Lucas’ family have asked for the public to send Christmas cards. Please, if you can, send a Christmas card today with a caring and comforting note to Lucas and Juno. Include a photo of your Service Dog if you wish.
